Music and Military Band

At 909, cadets are able to participate in a Tri-Service Military Band hosted by 93 Grenville Royal Canadian Sea Cadets in Kelowna, BC. Military band is one of the flagship components of the cadet program, and music is essential to the ceremonial functions of any cadet unit. Through the music program, our cadets are able to learn new instruments, obtain music qualification badges, and learn to march and play at the same time!

 

In participating with the Sea, Army, and Air cadets from the Kelowna area, 909 cadets have access to a unique opportunity to engage with the other elements, and get access to a wide variety of musical knowledge and support, all with the eventual aim to establish a band here at 909 some day soon...
